The set can be installed on the standard engine block without any further adaptation work (no milling, turning or grinding necessary).
PERFORMANCE & CHARACTERISTICS
After the conversion the engine achieves at least double the power of an original PX125.
The performance values achieved on average are:
at least 12HP at 6000rpm
at least 15NM at 5200rpm
The high torque, which is already applied early on, is maintained over a wide speed range. This means that the gearbox can also be reduced for a relatively short time for predominantly urban/overland operation. This makes the engine very lively and makes a lot of fun, especially during acceleration.
The easiest way to achieve this is to simply replace the clutch pinion. Simply replace the existing sprocket (with 20, 21 or 22 teeth) with one with 23 teeth. If you want to use a high quality and at the same time easy to handle sport clutch, you can use the BGM Superstrong clutch with 23 teeth (for primary wheel with 68 teeth).

The tuning kit profits most from a crankshaft with a modified intake control angle and (optionally) a longer stroke. The BGM177 cylinder was designed from the beginning to be used with a longer stroke and only needs a thicker head gasket (1,5mm) for a long stroke crankshaft.
Whoever develops fun in engine tuning will be surprised with what little effort the performance of the engine can be increased without having to touch the cylinder. The key point is the rotary vane inlet, which is controlled by the crankshaft.
The inlet is extended in the engine housing to the maximum possible area (make sure there is enough sealing surface for the crank webs, and open the carburettor sump to the passage of the 26mm carburettor. As a result, the rear wheel quickly produces more than 16hp/19Nm, although the engine runs in the same speed range as before. Due to the high product quality, the engine can still be used in everyday life despite the high performance data and can also be used on the motorway with continuous full throttle. Depending on the selected gear ratio, such an engine easily reaches the 120 km/h mark. For older engines we recommend a previous engine revision, especially a change of the shaft sealing rings. This will then guarantee lasting driving pleasure over many thousands of kilometres.
