Brake/clutch cable retaining plate on engine-OEM QUALITY- Vespa V50 (VMA4M), PV125, ET3, SS50, SS90 – 2nd series.

This retaining plate is for the clutch cover -long clutch release lever type.
(The short clutch release lever type is secured with a small dowel pin, as an identification feature)
Matching to this, a separate cable retaining plate is required to properly guide the clutch cable and shift cable

The position of the adjustment screw below or above the guide plate is the difference here.

If the wrong retaining plate is used for the clutch cover arm, the clutch cable will be in contact with the kick starter.
